Adjustable Rate Mortgages
Delilah was very happy when she received her pre-approval notification for a mortgage loan. In fact, her lender pre-approved her for $25,000 more than she needed to purchase her first home. In the fact scenario described above, John had no reason to know that Jake's dog would inflict an injury on the construction contractor. Jake may be liable for his dog's actions, but it is unlikely that John would be liable.
